Mrs. Julie Tullis

I'm sitting in one of my favorite places in the world - the ridge above Kane Lake in the Pioneer Mountains. Behind me is a sheer drop of about 1000 feet to a basin with several small lakes. I'm really afraid of heights but I love the view!

A little about me:
I love everything about the Earth Sciences and Botany! I have two degrees in Geology and spent the first 17 years of my professional career working at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory (now the INL) as a geologist. My experiences include projects associated with geothermal energy, hazardous waste, well drilling and testing, soil sampling and testing, earthquake trench mapping, and low-level radioactive waste disposal. I have two kids (one a student at Hillcrest and one at Montana State University), a husband who supports all my ideas and hobbies, and a bunch of pets. My most recent interest is in Geocaching, the worldwide treasure hunt using the latest Global Positioning System technology (GPS). I'm looking forward to a full summer of caching, gardening and riding my mountain bike.
